At H+H, we are proud to recognize Heart Awareness Month this February and honor those impacted by heart disease and stroke. With heart disease being a leading cause of death in the United States, it’s vital to raise awareness and encourage heart-healthy practices. We’re inviting our associates, customers, and community to join us in making a difference.

Join Us for Wear Red Day!

Mark your calendars for February 21st, 2025—WEAR RED DAY! We’re encouraging everyone to wear red to show support for the fight against heart disease and stroke. It’s a simple but powerful way to raise awareness and spark conversations about heart health. H+H associates have the option to purchase a Wear Red Day Driving Good t-shirt with a $15 donation which will go to the American Heart Association.

Support the American Heart Association

This month, our customers have an opportunity to support the American Heart Association through two simple actions:

  • Round-Up for Heart Health: When visiting any H+H service center, you can round-up your purchase to the nearest dollar. Every cent of the round-up amount will be donated to the American Heart Association.
  • Direct Donations: Use the Driving Good app to donate any amount. Every contribution makes a difference in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

Engaging Associates in Heart-Healthy Activities

Our associates are integral to our efforts to promote heart health. Throughout February, they will:

  • Wear Red Ribbon Pins to show solidarity and support.
  • Participate in a Heart Healthy Potluck Day, featuring nutritious foods and snacks that align with heart-healthy eating habits.
  • Wear red on February 21st, 2025 in honor of Wear Red Day.

Resources & Training for a Healthier Future

To further our mission of awareness and education, we’re offering valuable resources at all H+H locations:

Why We Care

The most important reason we’re supporting Heart Awareness Month is to create greater awareness of heart disease and stroke. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 5 people in the United States died from heart disease in 2022. By coming together as a community, we can take steps toward reducing these numbers and improving heart health for all.

We look forward to seeing everyone in red on February 21st, 2025 and making this Heart Awareness Month impactful. Together, we can drive good for heart health!
