September 2024 HH Youth Mentor Spotlight

September’s Driving Good Youth & Mentor Spotlight is Joshua Fisher!

Joshua is a College Apprentice and works at the H+H Omaha Recon Center as a Service Technician. He’s nearing his first year with H+H. Joshua graduated from Yutan high school and now attends Metro Community College’s Automotive Technology Program. Joshua’s mentor is Bryan Montenegro who is a Service Technician at H+H Omaha Recon Center.

Q&A with Joshua

How do you think your apprenticeship will benefit you in your career exploration/advancement?

This apprenticeship has helped me to get more comfortable with my work, plus it’s making me quicker at the same time. It also helps a lot with learning because if I don’t know something, I’ll go to my mentor, and he’ll help guide me.

What do you like most about working at H+H?

I really like the people I work with because if my mentor is not available, then there are other associates around me that can help.

Tell us one fun fact about you.

I can eat 4 pizzas by myself in one sitting
