But how does our infrastructure support this growth?

As the capabilities of EVs get better and better, more drivers are wondering if they can rely on an EV as their road trip vehicle.

How can I charge an EV at home in Nebraska?
To charge an EV at home in Nebraska, you’ll definitely want to consider getting a Level 2 charger installed professionally.
Most EVs come with a Level 1 charger included, which plugs into a standard outlet. However, these chargers only add about 5 miles of range per hour and likely can’t be relied upon to give you enough range for frequent driving.
An overnight charge of about 8 hours could give you 40 miles of range for the next day; this may be enough to go to work and back with a few additional stops, but keep in mind that both charging speed and range vary by make and model, and range can be affected by driving style and weather.
Check your local area power provider for rebates on home charger installation!
