November’s Driving Good Youth & Mentor Spotlight is Gryffin Hatleberg!
Gryffin is an H+H University Apprentice currently working as a Service Technician at H+H Kia. Previously, Gryffin was an Apprentice at H+H Jeep Dodge Ram on the Quick Service Team. Gryffin graduated from Platteview High School in May 2024.
Q&A with Gryffin
What do you like most about working at H+H?
What I like most about working at H+H is the flexibility of my internship and the pace of when/how I learn things. So far, I have been able to learn and experience many things I believe a traditional internship wouldn’t have taught me.
Is there a person or a moment at work that has had a positive impact on you?
A person that has had a positive impact on me is Josh Abbey. He has been very supportive of my journey through my time in express and my transition over to Kia working with a mentor. He has taught me many skills during my time in express that will help me throughout my career in the automotive field.
What new skills have you obtained during your apprenticeship?
Skills I have obtained through my time with H+H have been teamwork, stress management, learning more about working on vehicles, and how to manage my time efficiently.

One fun fact about me is that I have a real passion for cars and racing and love working on my own project cars.
