Q&A with Brayden
What advice would you give to other students considering an apprenticeship with H+H?
I would say to take the opportunity to become an apprentice at any H+H location. It is a fantastic option to take on if you want to learn more about the automotive industry and how to repair vehicles for a specific brand of your choice!
How do you think your apprenticeship will benefit you in your career exploration/advancement?
I believe that my apprenticeship will benefit me long-term. Throughout my experience I was able to obtain my general maintenance and professional maintenance certifications, all while being an apprentice, to give me a huge head start once I become a full-time flat-rate tech.
Tell us one fun fact about you.
One fun fact about me is that I never intended to go to college until I discovered the vast opportunities that Iowa Western Community College had to offer for people wanting to go into the automotive industry. Also, the partnerships the college has, including H+H, which allowed me to get to where I am now.
