February’s Driving Good Youth & Mentor Spotlight is Luca Montera!
Luca is a Service Technician Apprentice at H+H Jeep Dodge Ram and started in May 2023. He is currently attending MCC and is in the MOPAR CAPS Program. He rotates between being at school and working at the dealership. Most recently Luca was mentored by Patrick B. at H+H Jeep Dodge Ram.
Q&A With Luca
What drew you to pursue a career in automotive technology?
I’ve always had a love for cars, working on them and fixing them up and saw this as my opportunity to make a career out of it.
What do you like most about being an apprentice for H+H?
What I like most is the vast amount of opportunity’s to learn and grow with multiple different mentors allowing me to learn and see how there are many ways to do this job efficiently.
What new skills have you obtained during your apprenticeship and/or MOPAR training?
I’ve gained a lot of new skills mainly in the diagnostic and testing area which is something I was eager to learn more about.
What is one fun fact about you?
I like racing motorcycles and cars.
