December’s Driving Good Youth & Mentor Spotlight is Danny Rios!
Danny is a Southeast Community College student in the GM ASEP program. He’s a Service Technician Apprentice in the service department at H+H Chevrolet. Danny is mentored by Mitch Endorf who is a Service Technician at H+H Chevrolet.
Is there a person or a moment at work that has had a positive impact on you?
My mentor Mitch at H+H Chevrolet has had a big positive impact on me. He’s always patient, shares his knowledge freely, and has taught me to approach challenges with confidence. His guidance has made me better at my job and more passionate about my work.
How do you think your apprenticeship will benefit you in your career exploration/advancement?
My apprenticeship has given me hands-on experience and valuable skills in automotive repair and customer service. It’s helping me build a strong foundation for advancing in the industry and explore different career paths in the automotive field.
If you could describe your experience at H+H in one word (or a few words), what would it be?
Rewarding and eye-opening.
What is one fun fact about you?
I love spending time working on cars at work and home, I also love fishing.
