At H+H, we believe that being a good neighbor means more than just providing great vehicles—it means showing up for our community when it matters most. That’s why, as part of our H+H Driving Good initiative, we are stepping up to the plate this June to partner for the third year with the Food Bank for the Heartland’s Strike Out Hunger Drive.
We are proud to partner with Food Bank for the Heartland to combat food insecurity across Nebraska and Western Iowa. Whether it’s a child heading into summer break, a veteran in need, or a local family hitting a rough patch, your support ensures no one in our community has to worry about their next meal.

The drive officially kicks off on June 1st. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved, but in the meantime, here is everything you need to know to get ready!
How You Can Help
We’ve made it easy to contribute, whether you have extra pantry items or want to make a quick digital impact:
- Donate Food: Bring non-perishable items to any H+H dealership location. (See our Most Needed list below!)
- Donate Cash: Financial contributions allow the Food Bank to purchase most needed items at a scale that goes incredibly far to provide meals.

A Little Friendly Competition
We’re upping the stakes! To keep the energy high, our H+H locations are competing for more than just bragging rights:
- The Giving Challenge: The H+H location that collects the most donations will win a food truck lunch for the entire team!
- The Sculpture Showdown: Each location will use their food donations to build a food sculpture. The team with the best-voted masterpiece will also win a visit from a food truck!
