As part of our ongoing H+H Driving Good initiative, we were proud to partner—for the second year in a row—with the Food Bank for the Heartland’s Strike Out Hunger campaign to help fight food insecurity right here in Nebraska and Western Iowa. The Food Bank’s goal was to raise enough to provide 400,000 meals for those in need this June—and H+H Nation showed up in a big way.
Thousands of children, families, and veterans in our area face hunger every day. With your help, we’re making a real difference—one meal at a time.
How We Drove Good – June 2025
Food Donations
From June 2nd – June 30th, every H+H location served as a food drop-off site. We asked for the Food Bank’s most-needed items like:
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Tuna & Chicken
- Cereal
- Pancake Mix
- Canned Fruit & Vegetables
- Pork & Beans
- Pasta & Sauce
- Rice
- Boxed Meals
Financial Contributions
Thanks to your generosity, H+H raised $2,450, and with every $1 providing three meals, that translates to over 7,000 meals! All H+H locations joined in a little friendly competition to raise the most support—and you made it fun and impactful.
Let the Building Begin: Food Sculptures!
From June 23rd – 26th, donations collected at each location were used to create sculptures—yes, sculptures! Our creative teams will stacked and arranged their items into fun, eye-catching designs.
And the Winners Are …
Top Scoring Team: H+H Jeep Dodge Ram
They crushed their goal of 750-poinst by hitting an incredible 1,561 points! With over 1,400 pounds of food and $117 collected, the H+H Jeep Dodge Ram team earned a catered breakfast courtesy of H+H. Amazing work!
Food Sculpture Contest
From June 23rd – 26th, the H+H teams transformed food donations into creative sculptures. Central Support took 1st place with a “Baseball Player” masterpiece and won a Food Truck lunch for their location!
Driveway Party Raises More Support
To top it off, H+H hosted its second Driveway Party at our Chevy location. Team members and guests enjoyed food, drinks, and a competitive cornhole tournament—raising another $1,000 for the cause!
The cornhole tournament winners were Nolan A. and Ryan F. and they won $400 cash!
Together We Can Strike Out Hunger
We’re incredibly proud of our H+H family. They donated, got creative, and most of all—drove good for our community. Whether it was a can, a dollar, or a vote, every action made an impact.

Food Bank for the Heartland is a vital organization committed to alleviating hunger in Nebraska and Western Iowa. They work hard to ensure that no one in our community goes without a meal. By distributing food to pantries, emergency shelters, schools, and other nonprofit partners, they provide critical support to those facing food insecurity.
