At H+H, we believe the future of the auto industry begins with opportunity, and that starts by investing in young talent. In June, we proudly welcomed four high school students into our hands-on apprenticeship program, designed to help them explore careers as automotive technicians.
Over a period of 12 weeks, these students will rotate through multiple H+H locations, giving them exposure to different vehicle brands, experienced mentors, and a variety of shop environments. Whether it’s learning diagnostics, performing routine maintenance, or shadowing seasoned technicians on more complex repairs, each rotation is tailored to provide a well-rounded, real-world experience. Once the students complete their first 12 weeks, they select an H+H dealership to stay at for the remainder of their apprenticeship. Our goal is to help them gain not only technical knowledge, but also the professionalism and problem-solving mindset that make great technicians.
This apprenticeship program is more than just an introduction to automotive careers, it’s a pathway to long-term success. Through mentorship, on-the-job training, and skill development, students gain a strong foundation that prepares them for life after graduation. Many of our past apprentices have grown into full-time roles within H+H, continuing their career journeys with support and upward mobility.
